This is the official channel for the Hieizan Driveway, a 1.8km sightseeing road connecting the Tanoya Pass in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, to the East Pagoda of Enryaku-ji Temple （ Noto-chudo Hall ） ・ Hieizan Summit. Hieizan Driveway, which opened in 1958 as the gateway to Mt. Hiei, features Yumemigaoka, where visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Biwa and fresh air; L'Hotel de Hiei, a casual resort hotel; Enryakuji Temple, a serene space filled with the fragrance of history and culture; and a ceramic plate reproduction of a painting and seasonal flowers on the summit of Mt. Garden Museum Hiei is located at the top of Mt. Hiei and is filled with paintings reproduced on ceramic boards and seasonal flowers. The channel will provide recommended spots and information on the facilities along each route, as well as seasonal scenes of sightseeing roads surrounded by the great outdoors.
