About weather information mails

Typhoon No. 10 may approach over the weekend and next week.
Nagahama City has introduced an automatic distribution system to quickly convey heavy rain and flood warnings to residents based on information from the Japan Meteorological Agency.
To provide foreign residents with information as quickly as possible, the following emails regarding warnings, etc. will be automatically sent in Japanese, and if evacuation is necessary, an email will also be sent in the language you have registered after the Japanese email.

・Special warnings (blizzards, windstorms, heavy snow, high waves, storm surges)
・Designated river flood forecasts (flood warning information, flood danger information, flood occurrence information)

・Record-breaking short-term heavy rain information

We will also introduce smartphone apps and websites that provide information on disasters in Japan in multiple languages, so please make use of them as well.
