Regarding renewal of "Limit Certificate"

If medical expenses are likely to be high due to hospitalization, etc., you can present your health insurance card at the medical institution's counter and the payment of medical expenses for one month will be limited to the limit.
If you currently have a limit application certificate and will still need it after August, you will need to apply again. Please note that it will not be renewed automatically.
In addition, if you use your My Number card as an insurance card (My Number Insurance Card), you will be exempt from paying any amount that exceeds the limit under the High-Cost Medical Care Expenses System without any prior procedures, so please make use of it.

Applications can be made at the counter or by mail.
For more information, please contact the relevant division.
※If applying at the counter, please bring your health insurance card and identification to the Insurance and Pension Division (City Hall Headquarters Building, 1st floor), Kurashi-madoguchika (Hokubu Joint Government Building, 1st floor), or any Citizen Service Counter.
※If someone other than the insured person applies, a letter of attorney is required.
