    Pay: $100,000-$110,000/annually



    Role and Responsibilities

    Prepare reports and presentations for upper management and executives. Analyze and communicate trends, variances to budget, forecast and prior year. Communicate directly with our Parent Company in the US and in Japan. Assist in the monthly close and reporting process. Communicate verbally and in writing for both English and Japanese.



    Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasts and Month End Close

    1. Lead with respect to all budget and forecast updates
    2. Lead budget and forecast modeling tools
    3. Assist with financial information to be provided to Parent company
    4. Assist with Month End Close, journal entries and reporting

    Communication with US Parent and Japan Parent

    1. Monthly, quarterly, Annual reporting requirements
    2. Coordinate with Parent regarding internal audit, external audit, tax provision and tax returns
    3. Ad hoc requests from US Parent and Japan Parent

    Analysis and Ad-hoc requests

    1. Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
    2. Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve errors throughout
    3. Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
    4. Maintaining databases, spreadsheets and other tools used in data analysis
    5. Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
    6. Pulling data to develop recurring or one-time reports
    7. Training others on how to use and create reports
    8. Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
    Duties

    * Daily Sales (Green/Roast) & Profitability
    * Daily Inventory
    * Daily Production Volume
    * Weekly Market Call
    2. Monthly
    * Month End Closing (US & EAL) & Reconciliation
    * Forecast (1st/2nd Prelim) to US Parent and Japan Parent
    * Officer Meeting Slide
    * Green Inventory Slide
    * Customer Sales Report
    * Prep for Finance Meeting with US Group Company
    * Review previous month Sales/Operation/SG&A result after closing
    * Sales Forecast review for Inventory control
    * Costa Rica subsidiary CAPEX Proposal/Disposal support
    3. Quarterly
    * 1st Qtr/1st Half/Annual Forecast of Income Statement
    * Prep for FS package and Reports to Japan Parent
    * Update Financial Overview for Investor Relations to Japan Parent
    * Prep for Meeting with Boarding member at Japan Parent.
    4. Annual
    * Budget
    * Sales
    * Operation
    * HR Expense
    * SG&A
    * CAPEX
    * Costa Rica subsidiary
    * CASH FLOW
    * Prep for Budget meeting (1st/2nd/Boarding member)
    * Internal Control Audit coordination
    * Prep for Long Term Strategy Meeting Slide
    * Year End Audit assistance
    Experience and Education:

    1. Understanding and experience with:
    * Manufacturing accounting
    * ERP systems
    * Overhead allocations
    2. Minimum 3-5 years progressive, relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
    3. Great Plains or Dynamics experience preferred, but not required
    4. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
    5. Ability and aptitude to participate cross functionally in the business
    6. Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Japanese
    7. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
